Micro Jet boating in the Hollyford River NZ
The winch broke down the Hollyford River So Guy from Jet Works came to save the day in the WattsCraft Dugong micro boat.
She runs a ~30hp Kawasaki JS300 single cylinder two-stroke jetski engine and pumps. All very modified from stock to fit in boats. Dont ask us to build you one they are not worth it.

The extended Watts clan out on the Hunter on a mint day. This River is only open certain times of the year, know the rules before you go. Hull is a WattsCraft 3.6m (12ft) and engine is a Suzuki M16a car engine. Pump is a Kawasaki jetski pump with a SACO blade. See www.wattscraft.com for more info.

Quick video of our prototype inflatable. Note: This is prototype and many parts are not particularly well made so dont take this standard as fit for purpose in a river jet boat. All problems aside this is a very fun experiment with 30-40hp and capable of 60kmph. Weight is estimated at 70-80kg. I wouldn't recommend using the JS300 engine and pump as donors. They are a real pain to adapt. See wat...

A wee RIB style jet boat with a JS300 Kawasaki one cylinder two-stroke jetski engine and pump. 30-40hp and 58kmph top speed on its first outing. Should be around 70-80kg total weight. For those who don’t know why he uses a mallet on the welds, just after the tack is done the weld is still fluid enough and you can bring the sheets closer together.

Why don't you guys use tab and slot? It's an easy to use feature now in solidworks and it would save so much time in assembly; like where the stern plate locates to the hull, or where the temporary form locates to the hull skin. The slots are easy to fill and grind flush.
I was fortunate enough to raft Howard's in June of 2010 when the river hit a record flow of 8000 CFS. That was wild.

Excellent piece of toy. This is very suitable for my community as we find means of transport in the remote part of the country only accessible by water transport. But during dry season we walk. Many communities located at the up stream of the river needs a Water Ambulance for medical emergencies as well as transport. Could you ship overseas? please let me know. God Bless.
